I'm plural. I don't consider plurality to be either a disorder or a delusion. To me, plurality is just another sort of human experience. It's how I am and I like it; I don't think I "should be" singular anymore than GLBTs "should be" straight or a pagan/muslim/agnostic/jew/etc "should be" christian. Being a minority isn't wrong, it's just different from the norm.
I know many people who are plural who are wonderful, happy, healthy people. And yes, I know ones who are unhappy, who need help dealing. I also know singletons like that...
